The journal publishes original articles about significant AI theory and applications based on the most up-to-date research in all branches and phases of engineering. Suitable topics include: analysis and evaluation; selection; configuration and design; manufacturing and assembly; and concurrent engineering. 12年12月29号投稿, 13年5月返回意见，大修，6月提交修改稿 13年9月返回意见，小修，10月提交修改稿 13年11月8号，录用。 期刊审稿严格，但是审稿人很NICE，编辑很NICE。该期刊质量很高，剑桥出版，应该是工程类SCI期刊中很高质量的，尤其是AI在工程中的应用。 澳洲的有个期刊分等级的ranking list，把该期刊列为A类。个人认为该期刊是同领域顶尖期刊之一。如果有同行投稿，祝君好运。

这个期刊处理稿件不知道是不是现在编辑们还在放假。我12年12月29号投稿，现在都13年一月16号了，状态还是 ADM: Not Assigned，Awaiting Admin Processing，真郁闷。
