International Journal of Mineral Processing has been discontinued as of the end of 2017| due to the merger with Minerals Engineering. The International Journal of Mineral Processing covers aspects of the processing of mineral resources such as: Metallic and non-metallic ores| coals| and secondary resources. Topics dealt with include: Geometallurgy| comminution| sizing| classification (in air and water)| gravity concentration| flotation| electric and magnetic separation| thickening| filtering| drying| and (bio)hydrometallurgy (when applied to low-grade raw materials)| control and automation| waste treatment and disposal. In addition to research papers| the journal publishes review articles| technical notes| and letters to the editor..

换过好几个期刊，最终才投稿这个期刊的，审稿时间算是还可以，但是提出意见很是专业，有一些都不知道怎么回答的。

**NOTICE FOR AUTHORS** As of 2018, International Journal of Mineral Processing will merge with Minerals Engineering to form Minerals Engineering, Incorporating International Journal of Mineral Processing. As of May 1, all prospective authors should submit their papers to Minerals Engineering at elsevier.com/mineng.

审稿人明显不懂文章的内容，一顿指责，所以不知道如何写修改说明，修改了2个月才返回的

影响因子虽然有所增加，但是还是垃圾期刊，灌水特别严重，现在评审基金都要被拉入黑名单了

每一年发表的文章就是太少了，导致审稿周期很长，实在是受不了的

虽然是老牌期刊，但是也是水军比较多，建议慎重投稿
