The Journal of Agricultural Science publishes papers concerned with the advance of agriculture and the use of land resources throughout the world. It publishes original scientific work related to strategic and applied studies in all aspects of agricultural science and exploited species| as well as reviews of scientific topics of current agricultural relevance. Specific topics of interest include (but are not confined to): all aspects of crop and animal physiology| modelling of crop and animal systems| the scientific underpinning of agronomy and husbandry| animal welfare and behaviour| soil science| plant and animal product quality| plant and animal nutrition| engineering solutions| decision support systems| land use| environmental impacts of agriculture and forestry| impacts of climate change| rural biodiversity| experimental design and statistical analysis| and the application of new analytical and study methods (including genetic diversity and molecular biology approaches). The journal also publishes book reviews and letters. Occasional themed issues are published which have recently included centenary reviews| wheat papers and modelling animal systems.

投稿经验：5月份投的，之后一直under review，中间催过几次，编辑说第二个审稿人一直没找到，10月份给了修改，今年1月份接收，赶毕业慎投。其他用户回复：

投稿经验：投稿后三个月给大修，修回期为三个月，修回后一个半月又给小修，修回后接收。此杂志部分格式与大多数杂志不太一致，投稿需注意。其他用户回复：

影响因子大幅下降，主要因为，期刊换名字了，在web of knowledge数据库中为新增期刊，为了和另外一个期刊区分，明年会涨回来的，当前的影响因子仅为2014年12月以后的影响因子。另外我发现该期刊网站发布的影响因子好像为1.112，不知道为什么会存在差异。

我是2014年10月20 日投稿，经历了2次大修，1次小修，2015年3月16 conditional acceptance,难道还有很长的路要走么？经确认，该期刊2012年影响因子为1.69，因此中科院2013年度JCR的分区为二区是正确的。

2014-5-23 submission; 2014-5-26 immediate reject; 2014-6-1 submission; 2014-6-4 immediate reject; 2014-7-10 submission; 2014-7-30 major revision; 2014-9-27 submission; 2014-10-13 minor revision; 2014-10-20 submission; 2014-10-28 conditional acceptance; 2014-11-7 submission; 2014-12-10 back to author for further revision; 2015-1-9 submission; 2015-1-16 back to author for further revision; 2015-1-30 submission; 2015-2-19 final acceptance 一篇论文从投稿到接受的整个历程。其实速度可以说是很快的。中间有几个折腾。首先是主编拿到论文后先审查，光这个就被主编拒了两回。好在是因为语言和内容调整的问题，所以还能修改后继续投稿。中间审稿人很快。估计20天之内。审稿人认为可以接受后，后面才叫折腾。主编看了之后提出意见，继续大修改和小修改。等到主编认为没有问题了之后，又找了专门搞统计的编辑审稿，又折腾了4回修改。好在每次修改时间都很短一般都是个把星期，直到过年那一天，最终确定接受。说句心里话，这论文确实不容易，主编极其负责人。会帮你润色语言，当然，前提是语言不能太差。主编、杂志主管、其他编辑和选择的审稿人都非常友好。中间有几度总觉得接受无望，后来坚持坚持，总算坚持下来了。童鞋们，坚持就是胜利，只要主编没有明确说拒稿，然后不能再投这个杂志的话，一定要有毅力坚持。加油吧！

该杂志在中科院2013年度JCR的分区为二区，而MedSci网站显示的分区是一区，究其原因是2012年的影响因子不一致，在中科院JCR分区系统显示2012年的影响因子是1.69，而MedSci网站显示的2012年的影响因子是2.878。按理说一个期刊每年的影响因子是唯一的，2012年的影响因子为什么会不一致，有没有高手能够核实一下，究竟是哪儿弄错了。
