The Journal of Archaeological Science is aimed at archaeologists and scientists with particular interests in advancing the development and application of scientific techniques and methodologies to all areas of archaeology. This established monthly journal publishes focus articles| original research papers and major review articles| of wide archaeological significance. The journal provides an international forum for archaeologists and scientists from widely different scientific backgrounds who share a common interest in developing and applying scientific methods to inform major debates through improving the quality and reliability of scientific information derived from archaeological research.

投稿经验：期刊是考古学科国际权威期刊。编辑和主编比较友好、但是要求严格，审稿人通过后，依然反复修改多次才录用。有好的研究成果，值得一试。其他用户回复：

投稿经验：考古中的顶刊。自从推出了其子刊，近几年正刊文章质量非常高，投稿难度较大。中国人在该期刊上的文章每年少于10篇，因此灌水很少。审稿意见非常专业，虽然被拒，但有很多建设性意见。审稿较慢。其他用户回复：
