This international journal is directed to researchers| engineers| educators| managers| programmers| and users of computers who have particular interests in parallel processing and/or distributed computing. The Journal of Parallel and Distributed Computing publishes original research papers and timely review articles on the theory| design| evaluation| and use of parallel and/or distributed computing systems. The journal also features special issues on these topics; again covering the full range from the design to the use of our targeted systems.

审稿速度3个月很稳定，非常严格，三个审稿人给出了非常详细的意见，增加了很多内容，已经三审了,二审时候一个审稿人不是本领域的，说他的意见可以忽略，但是编辑还是让适当的修改，很快审稿完成，进入decision in process已经快两个月了，都没有处理，也不敢催，等待ing

审稿速度和编辑处理速度都不算快，修改了三次，历经一年半才录用。确实很难中，每位审稿人提的建议也很有用，编辑和审稿人的要求也很高，从投稿版本到录用版本，修改了很多内容，也新增了很多内容，方案也提升了很多。到最后，个人觉得最终录用的版本论文都够去投TPDS了。

今年六月中投稿，时间修改过3次了，现在还是在under review的状态！太慢了！时间就这样被耗掉了！

经次于IEEE TPDS，分布式计算领域的知名刊物，比较难中。
