The Journal of Raman Spectroscopy is an international journal dedicated to the publication of original research at the cutting edge of all areas of science and technology related to Raman spectroscopy. The journal seeks to be the central forum for documenting the evolution of the broadly-defined field of Raman spectroscopy that includes an increasing number of rapidly developing techniques and an ever-widening array of interdisciplinary applications. Such topics include time-resolved| coherent and non-linear Raman spectroscopies| nanostructure-based surface-enhanced and tip-enhanced Raman spectroscopies of molecules| resonance Raman to investigate the structure-function relationships and dynamics of biological molecules| linear and nonlinear Raman imaging and microscopy| biomedical applications of Raman| theoretical formalism and advances in quantum computational methodology of all forms of Raman scattering| Raman spectroscopy in archaeology and art| advances in remote Raman sensing and industrial applications| and Raman optical activity of all classes of chiral molecules.

这个期刊简直就是个奇葩。投稿上去之后系统内完全看不见任何反馈信息，一直都是under review的状态。持续了三个月，通知需要小修。提出参考文献引用的格式不正确需要修改，结果我认真比对之后发现现在刊发出来的文章里面的格式居然和作者指南里面的格式是不一致的.... 编辑要求提交一个Table of content的东西，结果网站上给出格式示例的链接还是失效的。唯一满意的就是小修之后很快就给接收了。

投稿之后，25天回来审稿意见，两个审稿人，一个大修一个小修，修改一个月后返稿，审稿意见小修，认真修改一周后再次投稿，2天后接受

If there are arbitrary units/numbers given on any of the scales, indicate this by “Physical Quantity/Arbitr. Units”. Please revise your Fig.3 and Fig.5 according to this requirement.这个问题编辑让我改了两次了，我想知道到底是什么意思，是不是就是说图三，图五的纵坐标要用Raman Intensity/Arbitr. Units 吗？

投稿之后直接Under Review，28天后显示Evaluating Recommendation，不到1天又等来了Reject!!! 四个审稿人，一个小修，一个拒稿，两个大修，编辑最终的结果是拒稿。唉，悲催，感觉提的问题都很专业，但都不难回答。怀疑第二个审稿人是中国人，给出了3篇文献，说是研究内容差不多，但没有引用，直接给拒了，悲剧。问题是给的文献里边的2篇基本不相同，第3篇还是篇中文的。也是醉了。这个期刊投稿还让选编辑，大家还是慎重选择编辑。

online时间简直都够再投一篇别的了。。。。。。太长了！另外，八九月份还总出特刊，什么什么会议的，拖得更长了！

投稿一个月回审稿意见，两个审稿人，一个没意见，一个问了三个小问题，第二天回复后，几天后接收。效率挺高！

没有技术审查。但是文章有特定的表达要求，需要仔细核对。比如不能用Raman frequency 而要用 Raman wavenumber。还有单位的标注等一些细节。很专业！审稿时间共3个月。投稿两个月后收到两个审稿人意见，一个很专业，小修一个不太专业，提出几个尖锐问题。经过一个星期的仔细答复并修改，投出，一个月后接收。感觉还算比较快的！投稿页面： http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/jrs

我说说自己投的情况两天左右就到编辑手，如果编辑满意，直接Under review 一审一般一个月到一个月半给结果修改后有时编辑直接收，有时审稿人还要再审最多一个月（这由审稿人决定是否要审）接受后一到两个月左右网络见刊，之后正式见刊可能还得等至少一个月总体来说速度比较快（当然如果遇上审稿人拖延什么的，那也没办法）
