请问你们投的时候字数都压缩到5000字以内了吗？我看到Instructions for authors里面说“A typical original article for this journal should be no more than 5000 words. A typical viewpoint for this journal should be no more than 1000 words, inclusive of the abstract, references.” 谢谢！

分享一下审稿的状态 第一次投：20-Jan-2019 一审意见：25-Feb-2019，major revision, 两位审稿人，意见非常详细，小同行，编辑给了6个月时间修改 第一次返修：07-Jul-2019 二审意见：05-Aug-2019，有一位审稿人直接接受，另一位还是很多细节上的意见 第二次返修：27-Oct-2019 三审意见：06-Dec-2019，接收 总体来说审稿速度很快，审稿人很专业，提出的意见都很中肯，修改的过程中也学到很多，下次还会投该期刊

我2018年4月17日投到JORS，两个月后（2018年6月15日）返回审稿意见，两位审稿人，给了很多意见，中比较中肯而且细致，一位给的意见比较消极，一位比较积极，编辑给了大修，给我半年时间修改，意见如下： Editor's Comments to Author: This paper presents an ****, which has practical applications. The theoretical contribution of the paper is minor but its computational contribution seems interesting. However, one referee requires more testing in order to strengthen the computational contribution. The authors are invited to submit a revised version of their work that will address all comments made by the referees, while keeping the paper as short as possible. 因为是和两位国外导师合作，修改过程非常缓慢，因为其中一位比较慢，改过去可能等两个星期才给意见，然后又改。最后用了四个月，改到吐血！国外的导师要求非常严格。2018年10月17日才返回修改稿，心里非常忐忑。 一个半月后，208年12月3日，得到直接录用的邮件，非常开心。编辑意见如下： Editor's Comments to Author: Editor The revision addresses all of the points raised in the review. The paper can now be accepted for publication in JORS. Congratulations on a very nice paper. 这个期刊感觉不像之前的一些评论那样慢，感觉每次都是两个月内给意见，下次还要投这个杂志。

08/2016 submitted; 10/2016 收到review 一个小修 一个拒 编辑给了大修 01/2017 修改后提交 5/2017 接受 没有催稿，审稿人还是蛮快给意见的。

关于这期刊的修改不太明白，要求是10 journal pages, 就是word十页么，后面还有前面文字修改要求中说Manuscripts may be submitted in Word or LaTeX format and should have at least 1.5 line spacing, with ample margins.后面长度又说 manuscripts should not exceed 20 typed, double spaced A4 pages, including figures, tables, references and appendices. 然后参考好些它的文章，感觉长度和字数肯定不止规定的啊，搞不太懂了？？？ PS. 技术审查后第18天送审，第56天回复审稿意见，相比于之前那么多评论，觉得审稿周期还可以，还是很快的。

杂志一般，关键是主编不负责任，审稿非常慢。一篇文章投稿三个月竟然因为论文长度和致谢部分被拒！！没有送审还等了这么长时间也是没谁了！好文章还是不要投这个杂志（原本挺好的杂志，被一些不良编辑给毁了）。 目前论文已投其他较好的期刊并且经修改录用。
