Pesticide Biochemistry and Physiology publishes original scientific articles pertaining to the mode of action of plant protection agents such as insecticides| fungicides| herbicides| and similar compounds| including nonlethal pest control agents| biosynthesis of pheromones| hormones| and plant resistance agents. Manuscripts may include a biochemical| physiological| or molecular study for an understanding of comparative toxicology or selective toxicity of both target and nontarget organisms. Particular interest will be given to studies on the molecular biology of pest control| toxicology| and pesticide resistance. Research Areas Emphasized Include the Biochemistry and Physiology of: • Comparative toxicity • Mode of action • Pathophysiology • Plant growth regulators • Resistance • Other effects of pesticides on both parasites and hosts.

一审用三个半月，可能是专家有点忙，修改后一个半月接收。但必须承认专家改的很细致，也提出一些很好的意见，让我受益匪浅。

自己的文章从投稿到接受用了不到3个月，其中审稿一个月，审的很仔细，三个审稿人，基本上吧文章的小瑕疵都找出来了。修改后两天就通知接受了，感觉速度很快！

作为为数不多的和农药相关杂志，虽然影响因子不多，其内容还是不错的，农药合成加上活性测试的文章虽然不多，但一般都能接受。

这本期刊的编辑很负责、很认真，他会把你所有的小问题都一一纠正，而且每一次都会将信息发到邮箱，包括第一作者和通讯作者，就是时间有点长，但主要还是第一次的外审，修改之后，很快就会有回复，告诉你什么时候发表，从接收到发表，也是有点时间的，总体来说，一年差不多。

感觉这个杂志还是不错的，审稿人很认真，而且态度不错，审稿很细，要求较高，审稿周期比较长。特别是对于那些做的内容比较偏的，审稿就很慢了，要自己找好审稿人。今年刚换了主编，以前是日本人，不知道是不是这个原因，审稿很慢。之前我投的差不多半年了，现在刚刊出，写了好几次催稿信。
