此刊为Combustion Institute的会刊，两年开一次会.

本人从未在这个杂志上投过稿，但很早就知道这个杂志水平很高，是国际燃烧学会主办的，与Combustion and Flame 一样，作为从事煤燃烧方面的研究人员，我导师和我都很想在这两个杂志上发表我们的研究成果，由于没有参加国际燃烧学会主办的会议，能否按常规论文直接投到Proceedings of the Combustion Institute？麻烦又类似经历的大侠告知这样是否可行？

燃烧污染物控制的文章可以投这个期刊嘛，烟气脱硫脱硝方面的，非燃烧中脱除的。

审稿非常严格，但是评审人给的意见非常到位，对修改文章很有帮助！09年影响因子已经排名热力学类第二名，但是3点几的影响因子可能在材料，医学不算什么，但是在燃烧领域绝对的响当当顶尖刊物！

搞燃烧越多多参加这个会议，全世界燃烧大牛几乎全部回来的哦。自己没有文章，去听听别人的报告也受益匪浅。

这个期刊基本和Combustion flame是同属于国际燃烧学会下属的期刊之一，文章水平确实很高；现在的影响因子已经到3.3的样子了；投稿难度是很大的，33届以前录取做大会报告的每年都是个位数，由于今年在中国举行，国人的数量有了不少的提高。一句话，这个期刊的投稿难度蛮大，希望同仁多多加油。
