The journal aims to encourage and enhance the role of mechanics and other disciplines as they relate to earthquake engineering by providing opportunities for the publication of the work of applied mathematicians| engineers and other applied scientists involved in solving problems closely related to the field of earthquake engineering and geotechnical earthquake engineering. Emphasis is placed on new concepts and techniques| but case histories will also be published if they enhance the presentation and understanding of new technical concepts.

投了两篇系列文章至SDEE，自我感觉文章质量尚可。2个半月返回，一篇大修一篇小修，修回后1个半月两篇均接受。属于抗震类知名期刊，虽然比EESD差了一个档次，但是总体中规中矩。

SDEE第二次投稿，一个半月收到修改，一个月后返回。一共四个月通知录用。感谢编辑，非常负责。

太慢太慢催稿也没用揪心 2016年12月投稿 2017年8月接到一审意见现在回意见已经一个多月了还是with editor 催也是没回复简直了。。。

特别慢中间催稿几次回复的邮件都一样 2015年9月投稿； 2016年10月收到审稿意见大修； 2016年11月提交修改稿 2017年1月15日接收

7月6日投稿； 7月8日 with Editor 8月8日 withEditor，发催审信，回信说Editor high workloads，正在初审，答应催审 8月19日，不符合期刊范围拒稿真是坑，等了一个多月才说不符合期刊！

真是漫长的等待， 2014.3投稿 2014.10大修 2015.4再大修 2015.9查询，编辑回复说新增一个专家，再等一下 2015.11直接录用感觉专家之间意见分歧很大，修改的时候真的要老老实实按照专家意见改或者解释。
