LWT - Food Science and Technology is an international journal that publishes innovative papers in the fields of food chemistry| biochemistry| microbiology| technology and nutrition. The work described should be innovative either in the approach or in the methods used. The significance of the results either for the science community or for the food industry must also be specified. Contributions written in English are welcomed in the form of review articles| short reviews| research papers| and research notes. Papers featuring animal trials and cell cultures are outside the scope of the journal and will not be considered for publication.

editor 是新西兰的 Siew Young Young Quek, 11.27就under editor evaluation了，12.5系统又自动发了一封还是required reviews complete。感觉系统都对她的慢无语了。请问有没有editor也是 Siew Young Young Quek？耗时大概多少？

2018年12月投稿， 2019年1月给小修意见 minor revision before accepted 2019年1月提交修改稿后，under review， 2019年2月，required reviews completed 2019年5月1日，accepted

9.27号投的，12.11 require editor evaluation，至今还是这状态，给我发邮件的editor 是新西兰的 Siew Young Young Quek, PhD，真是慢呀！

抱着试试的状态1月5号投稿，1月9号貌似就送审了，送审了两次但是非常快，第一次显示够最低审稿意见数量但是又送审一次，2月9号收到3个审稿人和编辑的意见，大修，给了两个月期限，但是修改内容基本是格式和语言问题，一个审稿人有两个问题难回答，中间隔着过年和我结婚，拖拉到4月9号提交，接着送审一次，4月17号审稿意见返回，小修后接受，两个审稿人两个非常小的改语言问题，4月18号改好接着投稿，4月19号接受。总体感觉审稿速度明显快了很多，比较容易中。。。

这个期刊主要是主编处理的慢一些，投稿约2周会送审，审稿结束也要拖1-2周给决定。审稿是5个人，审稿快慢就看运气了，因为是elsevier的期刊，出版速度还是很快，接收一周左右就可以online出带页码的正式版。
